There is some extreme OCD going on with some box searchers' who treat mining for silver coins as a career. Banks have to pay for every box they have shipped in or sent out (or as bags because some on here seem to abuse the coin machines). I have been to two banks so far that have told me I will be charged a fee to order a box of coins and I have accounts at both of these banks! These fees are not cheap. I have been quoted $7.50 to order a box of cents and $10 to order a box of nickels. I don't even want to know what a box of quarters or halves would cost me. Obviously, I don't get coins from these banks.

The point is everyone should be thankful your banks provide boxes for free. Banks could shut you down in a hot minute by telling you that they are going to start charging a fee for every box that you want. Someone can bring in all the donuts they want to the tellers but all it takes is an audit from the corporate headquarters who can see all of the fees that are being paid out for these coins at particular branches. Then bam! The game is over.

I hope you can get more boxes from that same source. Good job Inq, a box like that puts a little dent in your Bank Roll...ha ha ha

This hobby is already in it's endgame around here... enough people are searching and ordering on a regular basis that banks don't even blink now when I ask them to order. Right now, I'm more worried about getting mine while I can, because I know that regardless of how much I order (And I only do 4 boxes a week right now...) the crap is going to hit the fan sometime in the next couple years. So between now and then, I am going to search as much as I possibly can.

picked up my first box of nickels- mo wars and no buff's, of course, lol Got a lot of pre 1970's and was thinking about saving a few rolls. Maybe in 30 years or so I'd be happy i did. Anyone think saving some is worth it?

2 boxes of halves, both skunk. I did get a 2010D and we now have a complete set from 1964 - 2011. This will make searching much simpler now.

Box of halves: Skunk. Looks like things are going to dry up around here with the new boxes...
    $5 loose halves: 1 40%er
$300 CWR halves: Skunk. $260 of them were re-rolled in the bank wrappers.
    $200 BWR halves: Skunk.

    Moonshine ....................

    Box of halves: 1 x '64 and 2 x 40%ers
    Box of dimes: 1 Roosie

Been awhile since I haven't been skunked on 1 box or the other when picking one of each.

My best find(s) so far. Went through about 30 rolls of CWR dimes this weekend. Was doin pretty good (one 57d and a 49 canadian) til I got to an older looking roll of wrapped dimes labled "64". Opened the end and saw a 64. Slid the whole roll out and "BAM" 50 64 rosies. Not gonna lie, I may have wet myself a bit. :)

I'm about to give up on CWR's of dimes, I've been cleaning out every bank that has them for a couple weeks now and getting results that are similar to boxes, at best... Usually nothing. :(

That's kind of what I was thinking as I can't believe that someone who took the time to label and sort these into a roll would cash them in as they 99% knew what they had. Thanks everyone else for the replies!

Ding Ding Ding Ding give that man a cigar! he is definitely the big winner this week!
My "big" find, a 1955D Rosie EF or better. good enough to upgrade my album about 10 points or so.
Third lowest mintage for a Rosie.
Also picked up all the halves that they had at 3 branches of my bank. Came to about 3 rolls. found one 67.

It wasn't a roll search, but I bought a soda the other day and got a silver roosie dime in my change. Free soda.
