At the risk of looking really *DUM*.....

I've been looking for a transitional 1988 LMC with the reverse of 89. What I found, however was this 1989, and to me it looks like it could have the previous reverse (1986-1988) but I want to be sure. I took pics of it, so they are here. All I know in the difference is the FG initials, but I have read there are other differences. Can anyone help me? Am I imagining this?

I can see why you are questioning it, but I think from the shape of the G, the proximity of the lower F to the memorial and the hieght of the bush relative to the FG that is RDV-006 (or normal). I suspect it took a hit, some circulation wear and die wear are contributing to the ambiguity.
