is this a big die crack?

    i found four of these 59 d lincolns while roll hunting. kind of new at this. is this a die crack on his head? i have four different stages, each a little more pronounced than the last.these are two different pennies. IMG_0249[1].jpg IMG_0250[1].jpg IMG_0254[1].jpg

    Yes it is a die crack. It is sometimes called "cracked skull"

    Your not going believe this but there is a Lincoln with a die crack that goes from the rim right to
    into Abe's nose. I'll see if I can find the date for it when I get off.

    It's a 1963. There's also a cracked skull that forms an "A" and one that forms a "B"
    both on 1955 dies. I don't think they ever found one that forms an "E."
