16 40% halves 4 war nickels 7 roosies ~8000 copper cents for my hoard ~300 wheats, one was a 1926-S Maybe it just seems like it in my head, but I feel like there are less copper cents in my area now after taking 30,000 of them out of circulation. I'm probably just imagining it though. There were over 145 billion copper business strike cents minted.

We searched the same amount of halves and I found about 25% of what you found. WTH happened to my area. I'm going to have to make some changes here. May was not off to a good start either, I'm going to have to start doing a "silver rain dance" if there is such a thing. Or I'll have to resort to chanting, I haven't decided yet. HOTN
I had two really good boxes that totaled 30 of my 40% finds... take that out and my half numbers are far more pedestrian.
