Post your most disappointing coin. You know, the coin that would be awesome if it weren't jacked (ruined) by fate or some dim wit who holed it.

    Ireland - 1939 - 1/2 Penny - Km#10 - F $10.00, VF $17.50 (That's a weird price ), XF $60.00, Unc $220.00

I've been searching for years and I carn't seem to find it in time and when I finally do I carn't seem to win it.

    BTW:

This early stone age Cointalk post still haunts me:

I didn't even get it slabbed, bought it that way for a very cheap price.

This one is designated improperly cleaned, but I think it's more damaged than just improperly cleaned.

But once I complete my slabbed Type Set, this will be one of the first ones I replace with a better example.

Gees! "Bent, Cleaned, Damaged" What's left to describe? Pooed Out?

It's a shame, though having it is better than not and since I don't have that date, it leaves me jealous.

No, he is simply posting his most disappointing coin, the one he doesn't own.

    Very wise young man. :)

I have this one large cent, and if it were not worn to bits (XF-MS) , didn't have a gash in the last digit of the date, and didn't have a hole in it, I'm sure it would be money.

    LOL

Here's a really bad one I had. 1869 Greece 10 lepta. I don't know what they did to this thing but it was bent, cracked, dented and had glue on it. I received it as part of a lot I bought on eBay and got rid of it the same way.

This is my train wreck. Coin is darker in hand, thanks to Marshall for the attributing and such.
