Seems like almost all BIN's on eBay are coming from these two "power sellers". Anyone else noticing it too? I don't really mind these two sellers, but they list everything at high prices, no matter what. Even a bent, cleaned, coin worth maybe 30 cents has a min price of $18.00 with DSS.
I actually know several people at DSS. Yes there coins are second rate, but they are still type examples which is what they try to offer for wholesale. They will NEVER sell a slabbed coins for less than $15.00, it's actually their policy. And actually, you can get their BIN's down significantly through their best offer feature.
I wonder if the slabs DSS sells are their own coins, purchased from other people, instead of buying slabs from people. That might explain the minimum of $15.
If you don't mind them, why are you bringing it up? If you think their prices are too high, don't buy from them. Problem solved.
They must have a market if they keep listing. You may not like their prices but with over 8000 feedback, somebody does.
I have purchased several coins from DSS Coins. There are some diamonds in the rough in their inventory, and I have never paid the BIN full price for a coin from them. Unfortunately, their pictures are horrendous, so you have to know how to "read between the lines". They are the fastest shipper of coins I have ever dealt with, and they have some obscure world coins you can't find anywhere else. In their inventory are a TON of details holder coins...which I have never purchased.
