I do have a grade in mind. But I want to see how close or off I really am.

Hard to tell on my phone and I'm not familiar with grading Morgans, but my guess would be AU-50/55

Looks like it had an old cleaning, notice the frosty look around the devices. It may just be the image. If it is not cleaned, I would call it an AU-55.

The coin looks to have been polished at one time. I net grade it XF with AU details.

I would say AU details and it reminds me of baking soda type look from the picture. The picture reminds me of one my local dealer showed me. Then again pictures can make coins look worse than they are.

The color looks better, but It does look like an old cleaning. Nice details though.

Thanks guys, I was thinking the coin to be a AU50. Most of the luster is gone but it is still really shiny.

Almost definitely cleaned, probably about 40-50 years ago, and returning to form. Not a MS coin, or slab-worthy, but decent details. This is the caveat of buying raw Morgans--so many have been dipped.
