Who is this information supposed to be for? You failed to mention that most 4 digit and lower stars are pulled out of circulation by major cash transporters and they are sold to private collectors.
I have a $20 bill with six 6s. I call it the devil's $20. I also have a $20 bill with four 7s. I also have some $5 with five 9s. Hehe I keep some star notes too!
I don't post here often, but saw this thread and wanted to share!!! A true 'circulation find'; I got this note in a strap of 100 circulated $1 bills from a First Merit on 30 NOV 2011. I consider this the best find I've ever pulled from circulation... ... :smile ... These next two were pulled from circulation by two people I know and given to me for a very good price! Both happen to be *star* notes, as well!
Don't ya just love how some expletive :dead-horse: wrote "15-" on your low series bill.[/QUOTE] Oh man, I guess it;s still better than the "Wheres George" stamp on it. I am shocked at some of these low serial numbers from circulation. That gives me hope that I can find a 3 or 2 digit.
