I have an old copper coin which appears to be a large "Liberty Head" cent, however the coin is damaged and no date is readable, to the left of the date are the letters "COMP" and others which are unreadable, the back appears to have been removed and recoined with a building, and below the building reads "CITY HALL New York" I will try and get pictures posted as soon as I can, but was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this type of coin. Thanks for any help
