So today, at a stamp show of all places, a dealer was selling an uncut sheet of four $2 FRN star notes in their BEP folder for $18. That seemed like a reasonable price so I picked it up, but really I have no idea of their value. Did I do okay? Is the Atlanta seal any better than any of the others?

Oh yeah. That's an awesome deal because they're stars.

I'll be the first to accuse you of stealing — BEP sells current Series 4-Specimen Uncut sheets of $2 FRNs for $24.00! One Series 1976 F-Star (in the condition of your sheet) is worth at least $18.00. I think you did just fine!

Well that makes me happy! The dealer said he and his brother bought a number of these when they first came out so they were probably cheaper then. I think he just wanted to get what he paid. You never know where interesting things will pop up!
