No idea as to the PMD done on it, but I can grantee it is PMD.
Spend it before it burns a hole in your mind.
Or put it on Ebay for $3,000,000.
Do what you wish.

 

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Your coin appears to be damaged and as such has no collector value. If you have more coins you're not sure of don't hesitate to ask.

 

Gotcha, so PMD's dont necessarily bring a higher value, just actual die errors and such?

 

Yep, unless it's a rare date or variety, damaged coins not very desirable.

 

Yes that's correct because then everyone would be hitting their coins with hammers to sell for easy profit and premiums over their actual value, which is face value.

 

....which is what a lot of people do. Then the buyers bring the coins here to show off and we have to give them the bad news.

 

A lot of people aren't doing that now?
