Just bringing this to the top in memory of rlm's cents. Dick passed about 5 years ago. The guy really knew Lincolns and had a really great collection. I still wonder what his wife did with the collection.

1964 65RB. TV’s absolutely suck on it. Maybe I’ll contact Phil on Collectors Universe and see if they have an alternative image.

 

A huge loss to the community and to me! We did a good bit of collector business together. I hope the right person received that collection, it was incredible.

 

Bought 32 coins in a large lot for $40, this was just one of the many gems included.

 

STUNNER! I love that soft, matte-like finish on some 40's coins....then toss in that cherry toning. NICE SCORE!

Cleaning out my 5-7 year old change stash tonight and found this one - couldn't resist keep it - my fav color and in pretty decent shape for a change find! I couldn't believe it didn't have more hits/problems.
