Hi, I have this cool Indian head with some toning and I was wondering the grade and what its worth. It has all the letters in liberty, and all the bars in the shield.

For better pics, you should remove it from the 2x2, and shoot it straight on with your camera instead of at an angle. If you can, hold a loupe right against the camera lens and focus in to get a good close up.

Yep - it's hard to grade it from those pictures. Looks like a nice one though!

I've never really graded IHC's... I'm gonna speculate AU50 or so, give or take a point.

XF45 to AU50 max. It is a nice piece though, and see what difference it makes to use a loupe to achieve those details?

Ya, the other pictures actually did have a loop, but a 5x magnification, the second set were with a 10x loupe

I might have failed to mention to use a 10x loupe for best results.

Those are better, and I agree with XF and AU on them.

Hopefully rlmcents sees this as he's the penny guy here and is quite knowledgeable on cents.

It looks like the lower hair curl is not separated from the ribbon? If so I'd say VF-30, based on what I think I can see of other wear on the obverse & reverse. The pictures are better, but really not good enough to be sure.

If that hair curl is separated from the ribbon it'll grade higher.

Kind of odd that it was in a half dollar 2x2.

Could have been out of the cent sized ones.

Based on the photo's it has corrosion and it has been cleaned. If he took a photo with a real camera, then maybe something else can be seen. But under the current circumstances, I can tell you now and without any doubt in my mind that this coin would be body bagged.
