Hey everyone, I found this while searching for silver today. There is a 2 lumps on the JFK side of the coin and one on the back of the coin. The coin is totally flat except for these raised lumps of the coin. The one lump that is on the Y in "LIBERTY" kind of carries thru and is also lumped on the backside of the coin. The other lump is on JFK's head. Anyone seen this before? Any info is greatly appreciated!! By the way I took pics just have not figured out how to resize them, I will get them up asap!
Do the lumps go inwards on the reverse and out on the obverse or are they popping out with nothing wrong on the other side?
open a Photobucket account, post there (upload) and then copy the link here. No need to resize. Just use the bottom link.
Hey everyone here are some pics! Thanks for the replys everyone, Here are some pics, hope they help. One of the bumps goes is present on both sides, the other is only on JFK's head with the other side still a flat surface.
Thanks for the input guys, I was hoping you would say it was super rare and worth a million-lol. thanks again
Rarity doesn't necessarily equal High $$$ value. For example, I could get a Fair-2 (BN) 2012 Lincoln Cent graded by PCGS, and it would have a population of only 1...but it wouldn't be worth anything above its face value (I think).
