71s pr69dcam ike silver

    So i picked this ike up for 20 bucks. It is graded by pcgs. Question time. Whay does series 103 PR mean? Coin:1? The numbers on it are 97428.69/72956948

    Your supposed to feed us sugar when you ask a question like this and show us a picture of the coin in question, and not a IPAD instamatic land camera picture either, but a real one with details etc.

    That's a good idea. From now on when I post pictures, I will use instagram first.

    On some (not all) PCGS labels, they will list the series (in your case proof Ike's) and the number of the coin within that series (in your case the first coin of 11 that make up the series). Usually this information is put on the label for coins which were originally slabbed as part of a registry set. You can see an example of a "Series 103" PCGS Registry Set here (http://www.pcgs.com/SETREGISTRY/publishedset.aspx?s=2883).

    By the way, if you Google "PCGS Series 103" you will be able to see more sets.
