I'm not into prices on these but that coin does appear to be mint state.........

From those photos, it looks MS66 to me. I can't see the steps so I can't grade full steps or not but I will say that the rest of the reverse strike is hammered. Nice Jefferson. These sell for $25-$40 if they are certified. Since yours is raw, I would expect $10-$20.

If the steps are full that affects the price dramatically. The current value of 1943-P MS66 5FS is between $65-$80. I would expect a raw gem like yours to sell for MS65 FS money, $30-$40.

If you didn't buy them all they wouldn't be so expensive. Did you make an offer yet?

LOL, my only offer would be to photograph it properly and sell it for him.

your not working with the Hunt Brothers to monopolize the War Nickel market. I can't believe that. Your plan is to buy every war nickel about MS67 and get a CAC sticker on it....and when the price reaches $500 - bump them on ebay.

I'm surprised with those values. Haven't bought any BU war nicks in a while. I have some I should properly photograph and ask for opinions on.

Yeah - Paul is in the market and you can get a good quote.

Please remember, we are assuming his coin is an MS66 based off some rather small photos.

Yes I know. But it's worth more than I paid for it.
