I know what I'd give it, what about you all?

Not Unc. from that scratch going from the ear to the neckline, and mark across the back under DIME, above the ONE on the reverse side.

    AU.

That's what I feel too. Dang shame about the scratches. I picked it out of a pile he got in a $1k bag. I keep begging him to cherrypick ms & keys for me, most he'll do is set aside any Toners & let me dig for myself.

If you paid melt, you did very well. Not sure how to grade it with the mark on the bust, and the white lines under "ONE DIME," but it's AU...

After digging out my grading book, I'm actually going to say EF45, stretching to a 50 at best. It's been slid across a counter in it's time. The mark on the rev looks like a scratch with a luster break over it. The 9 & 6 on the date are actually bridged, if that's the right term. At any rate, I'd call it a $40-50 coin.
    Thanks for all the replies.

It looks like that ASE could be a winner with toning? Can you post a picture of that?

My microscope can't pick up the subtle hints at this distance, but this came from an APmex uncirc roll & was put aside for me. Image46.jpg Image47.jpg
