I just found this cent and was wondering if it's an "L"...it's too worn to have the actual L but I believe I see a trace of it remaining. I took a picture of the bust to ask around here to see if it's pointed or rounded...thanks in advance!
It appears to be without the L. The way to tell with worn 1864 is with the front tip of the bottom of the bust. The normal has a rounded tip ( which yours appears to be) and the L version has a pointed tip.
