I don't buy much on ebay when it comes to coins but I do buy supplies. In this case it was because I couldn't find the item anywhere else. Well here it goes, about a month and a half ago I ordered two different sized set of trays. I was going to order even more things which the seller claimed he had, but instead of been honest and saying he didn't have them he dragged it out for almost a month. It was to the point that ebay began hitting me with non-payment strikes. After almost a month the seller sent both auctions, but when I received them a bunch of the items was the wrong size. I contacted the seller stating that it was the wrong size and I wanted to return them. Been a seller of other things myself I try to give other sellers patience. So I waited and two weeks passed by with no reply, I checked the tracking and see he had the returned items for almost a week already. I promptly contacted him and three days later the guy asks me if I want replacement or refund. I opted for replacements since I still wanted the trays. According to him he would ship the items in one or two days, well guess what? after a week of waiting I contacted the seller again. It wasn't until then he shipped out the replacements which I got yesterday. And guess what happened? they were the wrong size, again. Sorry for the long rant, but at this point I'm really happy to leave negative feedbacks. What should have been resolved in three weeks was dragged out to almost two months because of this incompetent seller. And I still don't have the items I ordered.
Geez, a lot of ebay rants lately on sellers, must be something in the water! Hope it gets resolved sorry man
Exactly what kind of trays are you talking about. I can only guess, the flat type with depressed areas for the coins or 2x2, such as in a show display? I can't imagine that an ebay seller would have an item a commercial online dealer would not have. The delays seem to indicate he is a middle man in a chain and gets his supplies from a dealer, in bulk and probably a "dealers" discount, to resell on eBay. If this is the case, it might be less of a problem to pay a higher price and get from a competent online supplier
The items are cardboard displays for airtites. Like this Maybe its better I stick with tubes for my airtites?
