Help With A Mint Mark!!!!!

    I just found a 1941 Liberty Dime and I can not read the mint mark


    It kinda looks like a V or a W............PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    Well it can be numerous things but it possibly could be a altered mintmark.Can you post a pic of it?

    That isn't the mintmark....that is the designers initial....
    The mintmark is on the back by the E in ONE.

    If there is no mint mark on the reverse (back side) of the coin that means it was minted in Philadelphia.
