Yesterday I uploaded my new 1 dollar Guyana proof coin. People seemed to like that, so I am sharing the others from the series. The ones I have are half from 1976 and half from 1977. I am just showing the interesting side, in my opinion, and one scan of the other side. That side is the same on all the coins. Here is the 1, 5 and 10 cent. And again, the coins are proofs, but shiny coins don't scan well.
Thank you for sharing those images with us! What is a little odd is that "endurance" ($1 coin) is apparently not one of those principles; maybe it is covered by one of the other Swahili terms used to describe the Kwanzaa days. But the others - the series goes up to the $50 silver piece - do match. Christian
Thanks everyone. It's a nice set and I have a thing for animal coins. There are a few higher denomination coins in the series, but they have mintages in the hundreds and they have people, not animals, so I'm not really interested.
