1857 large cent question?

    I have been going back and reading through some of the old copper threads. Boy some nice coins. There are some real copper pros. I had bought this a few months back for my 7070. I didnt know then about the low mintage of the 57, or it was a semi-key date. I paid good money for it, and thought it was beautiful. I know its a small date. But is it n-2 or n-4? Also to the best you can tell off a pic, what grade would you give it? Hey i really thank you guys.

    I think it is a N-2. It looks like the left edge of the base of the 1 is over the center of the dentical below it. On N-4 it is over the left edge of the dentical.

    Here's an N-2 to compare it to.

    edited to add: Nice large cent! Looks around AU50 to me.

    Looks AU details. Odd color, but that could be the photo.
