Hey all. A friend of mine found this coin metal detecting, I was wondering if you can help me out on identifying it.
I really don't have the slightest clue.
Much appreciated for all help. 2012-04-12053821.jpg 2012-04-12053831.jpg

Yes, it is Roman. A bronze sestertius of emperor Gallienus.

Would you happen to know how old it may be?

This coin is pretty nice for the type. It has lost much legend but many late sestertii are worse.

How scarce are votive sestertii? I don't see them often.
