Last year I was close to 2 silver dimes for box of $250. This year I'm at a dismal 1.09 Silver Dimes per box of $250. Anyone else keep stats like this and are willing to share? Good thing I had a good Jan & Feb because March and April are killing me!

I had horrible luck with halves, the last 5 boxes I got produced only 1 40%er. I need to start keeping stats on my nickels.
I'm interested to see what people are still finding.

I have just started keeping records with pennies and so far,(this is only from one bank) my average is about 17 wheats per box.

My new goal is to comlete a full box of wheat pennies found from CRH.:smile

In March I was pulling about one silver dime for every $300 BWR searched, so 0.83 per box.

I'm at 1.84 per box for the year. Guess I've been pretty lucky

I also believe there has been less silver around this year, but don't have stats to back it up.

Just wait for the 2012's to come out. You haven't seen dry yet.

Your on track to do 100K in dimes this year. I think that is a nice milestone and a good sized sample of what is going on in your area.

Last year it was June for me (2011P's), and it lasted until the end of the year. I got solid boxes until December 2011 and January of 2012 I got one also.

I already got a box of 2012's... nobody wants to buy them, probably all waiting for the deluge of new coins... Gonna take them back to the bank this Saturday.
Yeah, it is. Aint easy finding silver right now... my first year, I hit what I would call three big finds of dimes. Since then, nothing.

I've had a number of above average boxes over the past week or so, so my average has gone up to 1.21 per box.

Does anyone consider it worthwhile to search the non-silver dimes for anything? If so, what is worth searching for other than 1982 no mintmark? 1982 P and 1983 P? Anything else?

High mintages, not a lot of die varieties, I feel like clad roosevelt dimes are incredibly boring compared with other coins. I never really even bother looking for errors anymore, just edge searching (although I'm sure I've missed one or two this way).

I guess you could add 1996-W to your list, but has anyone ever found one in circulation? Just curious
