Too bad for that WICKED nasty scratch. I'll assume that it's not worth more than face because of that...? I wonder what a close to perfect example of this year/mm would fetch?

Mine looks in uncirculated shape and it seems to have that burnished look to the Kennedy head itself. It does have roller damage though because it was an ender. Too bad about that.

My Loomis supplied bank which I stopped ordering from took it upon themselves to order me a box of halves last week. I stopped ordering them for a reason....they NEVER PRODUCE. Since they were just trying to be nice I'm going to pick it up today. Maybe I'll get a box like Merc had and then I'll be forced to start ordering again. I'm expecting nothing more than $500 in clad.

Picked up that Loomis Box on lunch - Yup, another SKUNK
I told them not to order even before I knew it was a skunk
I swear there's nothing in those boxes

I'll now be relegated to 3 boxes a week in halves. I'll start doing Dimes and Quarters again

Well.... I got a call from the manager from Fulton bank today, he said I've been abusing their system of ordering coins and he's going to close my account and send me a check in the mail for the balance....... guess that means no more hunting.... <insert swear words here>

Not good to hear man. Find a different bank, there are tons of them out there that will want your business.

but fulton was my favorite, I absolutely LOVED my main fulton branch I went to. it was a manager of a different branch that said hes closing my account. Is there anything I can do to keep the account or reopen it?!

Try a BoA if you have one in the area. They are my favorite to uh, take advantage of. For me they are the most plentiful so you can't help but not have an account there. I would be done with Fulton, it's not going to be worth your time, IMHO.

That sucks pballer! One thing you could do; Go talk to the manager you know and like. Be forthcoming with exactly what you're doing and why. Tell him how much you enjoy dealing with him/her and their bank and want to continue. Then simply ask their advice.

Can I ask how much you were ordering? Or did they have a problem with your dumps?

did some dimes, quarters, nickels, and picked up some loose halves. the $6 in halves produced 9x 40% and a nice 88s proof. 1 64d quarter and a 62 dime. nickels didnt have anything exciting, best one was a 1950.

from that particular branch I ordered a total of 2 boxes of dimes in one week, then when i picked them up, I asked for 2 more boxes for next week. the teller argued and really didn't want to order them for me, but eventually gave in and said she would, but only one more time. So the next week when I went to pick up the third and fourth boxes, turns out they didn't order them. a few days later I brought in about 20 rolls of coins and tried to deposit them, and the manager said I couldn't deposit them because she couldn't afford to make a teller count them all. this all happened three weeks ago, and I just now got a call with them saying they want to close my account. %$@# Fulton Bank!

Stopped by a bank today.....asked for halves.

Teller, "We only have $2 worth. Are you looking for certain ones?"
Me, "Yes, I'm a coin collector."
    Teller, "1970 is silver, right"
    Me, "Yes, and older."
Teller, "Well, I wanted to keep this one. Oh well, here's your silver."

She dropped it to hear the sound, she made several comments about how I was getting the silver. I thought it was very odd.

    I then was handed 3 clads and one 1960 D Franklin.....:D

That's odd. Doesn't seem excessive by any means...
