About time!! I've been looking for an error for soooooo long and here it is! The only thing I hate about having it sent in is storing the plastic holder they ship it back in... Can bills be taken out of those and easily put back in them without and destruction caused to the TPG holder?? I don't think so, but maybe you can? -tbud
You thought correct - The note cannot be removed from the holder without destroying the holder. Congratulations on finding your first error note!
Well talk 'bout bein' the bear of bad news... j/k. So this note doesn't have high of a premium, but even if it were worth a good $15-$20, that would be more than fine for me. I find star notes all day that are hopefully worth an extra 15 cents. Now to find a $1 that's worth an 10x-15x face value? Well, that's just awesome for me! Thanks for all of the thoughts!! -tbud
I received this one yesterday as payment on a toll. It looks to be the same type of over inked error and appears to be legit but who knows without seeing it in person. The revesre shows no ink bleed so I am fairly certain it is not handy-work with a Sharpie or other color filler but an actual BEP printing issue.
