    Team,

Please forgive my enthusiasm, but this is my first Capped Bust Half with a curl base two in F-10 thru 12ish condition. The reverse kicks the obverse's booty. These are VERY HTF even if it's rated as a relatively common R-2. It has some PVC damage, but not too awfully bad. Here it is, an 1827, O-146.

What a great find. I just love the reverse design, it has to be one of my favorites. And to find a coin that old that is that nice...wow. congrats. :thumb:

    Viper,

Thanks for taking a look. Yes, the Bust/Eagle Design caught my eye when I got back into the hobby a couple of years ago.

As an aside, a way of determining how difficult it is to snag one of these is to check Ebay. EVERY other 1827 CBH has a square based two.

The capped busts are really nice, no curled ones yet though I am looking.
