strange 1992 coin

    sorry all, I'm a noob to coins and pennys but Trying to get into coins and alll, found the wiledest penny
    has a bad mintmark - D stamped twice.
    machine doubleing or strike doubleing on the ONE in one cent and the wierdest pART ......
    3 DOTS above liberty, one zinc oxide dot above the first 9 in the date.....
    am I lucky or is this a total fake?
    cant find anythjing on this yr of coin having aLL THESE ERRORS

    Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to visualize exactly what you're seeing without photos.

    That "dots" you're refering to may be die chips, zinc rot, or simply post-mint damage... Bottom line - Photos are necessary for us to come to an accurate conclusion.

    The "dots" could also be bubles in the plating. A doubled mintmark is impossible (After 1990 the mintmark is in the model the master hubs are made from and if it was doubled there it would be doubled on EVERY 92-D cent) and is most likely zinc rot under the plating. Machine doubling on ONE is not an error, machine doubling is damage during the striking.

    Hopfully these are close enought. Guess there isnt any doubleing but the mint mark looks funny.

    I think the dot above the 9 is probably a bubble, the mintmark is definitely zinc rot, I don't know what the three dots above liberty are. They seem to be very uniform in size and spacing.
