Hello all. I'm new to the forum and looking for some information. I was going through an old coin collection I had as a child today and came across one that was pretty interesting looking. Trouble is I cant find any information on it. I'm no major coin enthusiast these days so I thought I'd attempt to get some info from more educated minds. The coin is a steel wheat penny but it is an error coin being tails on both sides. Any info from the coin gurus?
+1 That's an easy one to conclude. It's two reverse halves of a genuine 1943 Steel Lincoln cent. If you snap a quick pic of the rim, we may be able to make-out the division of each half. Thanks for sharing, and :welcome: to CoinTalk! -Brian
