I bought this coin from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170818747815?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1276wt_1270 and I have some questions about it. First and foremost it is silver in color, but it does not match HT33A, for instance the right side of the ground beneath the turtle is shaped all wrong. I have compared it to a couple different ones and can't seem to match it to anything. Does anyone have any information on this coin?
That's because it appears to be an HT34. HT31 thru A33 Have Executive Experiment around the turtle. HT34 and the coin from the auction have Executive Financiering.
Thanks Condor, did they make the HT34 in a silver metal, because mine is silver in color and does not look like it's made from copper.
I don't know if they did or not, but a simple weighing should tell you if it is silver or not. Personally I thought from the image in the auction that it has been plated.
