I use snip.pl. I don't know if its better than any others, but its cheap and it has never has failed me in about 7 years now.

I have never tried any sniping software or sites, but based on this thread I just did some research. I was/am nervous about handing over my username and password to my precious ebay account. I did confirm that multiple ebay accounts are allowed, so I just now created a second account, so I dont have to give my primary account info out to a third party.

Does anyone else here use a secondary account like this?

Also, have you ever tried gixen?

It appears to be a standard web interface. I copy/paste the auction number and snipe. I have no idea why I started using it, but just reporting its easy and I have had no problems.

I use my finger and a mouse. I rarely loose unless someone bids an extraordinary amount. The upside, it's free.

OK, I just registered for gavelsnipe.com based on the comments here. Using my secondary ebay account and doing a test snipe momentarily. I'll post my thought in a few days.
