I got a few coins at a garage sale with a couple of items in a box for 5 bucks hopeing i was just wondering if these are worth anything or should i just hold them for a while thank you
Whenever I visit my local B&M I stock up on the four for a buck coins... then sell them at the local flea market anywhere from fifty cents to a dollar each.
Your last photo is the bronze Irish "lucky penny" also known as Hen and Chicks. I would keep that one for sure. Some of the dates like 1931, 1933 and especially 1940 are hard to get. They also made proofs in 1952, 1962 and 1963.
