Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

As many of you guessed, this thread is not about beans :p

So today, my cousin came to visit my mother, pulled a Washington quarter outta her pocket and said "Hey Cannyn, doesn't this look like a counterfeit?" Shows me the quarter and it is a '79-S proof! I asked where she got it and she said she got it at a restaurant in her change. I think "Hmm... somebody probably broke up a set and spent it."

So I gave her a dollar for the quarter even though she was going to just give it to me. She was handling it by the faces, so I put it directly in distilled water hopefully to keep it from printing.

In other news, I am going to the JROTC lock-in at my school and am going to the PNNA coin show saturday. Hello 48 hour night!

Pretty cool find, not too many people knows that you shouldn't touch the face of the coin. Especially the valuable ones.

Spaulding, I was ready to rip it out of her hand and go all Classic LOTR Gollum on her.

And to the edunote, the JROTC Lock in is when my JROTC core (or those who wish to participate) Come to the school friday night once a year to get locked metaphorically inside and stay from 8 P.M. until 6 A.M. having fun, playing games, video games, food and my favorite thing to do, grilling :)

It is a bundle of fun to let loose in a school environment and have the most fun I have each year.

Definitely sounds like fun. Wish my school would put on something like that, lol.

Yeah, our band tried doing that a couple years ago while I was still in band and it was the greatest failure ever. It is a thing that only our program can successfully do :)

I say join a club such as JROTC and become an activities manager and plan stuff like this.

Water won't do much for surface oils, acetone followed by xylene would probably work. If you don't have xylene, try charcoal starter, but blot off the excess with a soft cloth. Have fun at the JROTC. I remember getting an Ike proof when I got a bunch of Ikes at the bank, it kind of shined up at me.
