1909 VDB Error?

    Good morning everyone. I have a 1909 VDB Penny that seems to have the VDB lower in the rim than where it is normally. Can anyone tell me if this is an error or not?

    my vote is that it is just worn down the rim making it look like the VDB is lower.

    It could be, but do you think it is off center a little or is that normal.

    The VDB in that slightly left of center is normal. If you Google search 1909 VDB images, you'll see that's the normal location.
