Online Order Mistake

    Dude seriously...what the heck are you talking about? They made a mistake and shipped me the wrong item. I contacted them and they said it was their mistake and that they will ship me the correct item. Everybody makes mistakes.

    So, I little update...as of yesterday I had not received my package nor had I ever received an email that it had been shipped. So, I called them again and again left a message. This time I explained what happened originally...and that I had called and been told it would be shipped, I gave them the dates for everything as well. I did not get a phone call back, but when I got home I had an email in my inbox saying they were shipping it and it included a tracking number. The email also told me to keep the slip cover because of the inconvenience. Neither of my messages were rude or anything, I still believe this is all just a mistake and that they are trying to make it right.

    Kinda of concerning how you weren't able to speak to someone either time you called. I don't care how big or good a company is, if I can't speak to someone when I have a problem, I will take my business elsewhere. I know they called you back and everything, but two calls and two voicemails left....that two strikes.

    A teller at my bank gave me this web site.... www.gethuman.com and apparently it gives you contact numbers for companies to speak to someone directly. Please note!, I have not been to this web site yet so I don't know what to expect if you go to this website.

    My binder finally came in the mail yesterday. So, here is how it all went down: I placed my order for a 1.25" blank Dansco binder on 3/31/12 using Wizard Coin Supply. On 4/4/12 a package arrived and it was a 1.25" slip cover...they sent the wrong item (but, the price was the same...so it would be an easy mistake to make). I called (twice in the hopes of speaking to a person) the following morning (4/5/12) and left a message on the second call. I explained what had happened, gave them all my contact info and asked them to please send me the correct item. They returned my call later that day but I was seeing a patient and could not take the call. They left me a message saying they would send it out that day and if I needed to return the slip cover return postage would be included.

    Had this been the end of it, I would have been happy. Everyone makes mistakes...and that's fine as long as you fix them.

    I never received a confirmation email that the binder was being sent, but I decided to give it a few days and see if anything ever came. After about a week...nothing arrived, so I called again. This time on 4/12/12 and again I left a message. I gave the same explanation including the dates and order numbers. I also explained that they had returned my call the week prior while at work and said they would send the binder and they never did. Although I was irritated, I was not rude in my message and simply asked them to send me the correct item. I never got a return phone call, but I got an email saying they were sorry for the mix-ups, they were sending it that day and I could keep the slip cover for my trouble. They also included a USPS tracking number. It finally arrived yesterday, 4/14/12. So, over two weeks and 2 phone calls after my original order.

    I have purchased items from them in the past and have never had a problem. Had I received the correct binder after the first phone call (even if they had wanted me to return the slip cover), I would have said their service was excellent and had recommended them. I really believe that occasionally everyone makes mistakes and the important thing is that we properly correct them. However, my initial phone call led to nothing being resolved...despite their statement that it would be. As a result, I would rate their service as fair. I'm not going to say that I will never again buy anything from Wizard Coin Supply...but theirs won't be the first website I check in the future. There are several other sites out there that I will consider before Wizard in the future.
