The Bank of Israel note reminds me of this Swiss note:

Currently, my main collecting focus in paper money is in U.S. currency. Below are some old threads showing various (but not all) world notes I also enjoy collecting. I also admire many of the notes others share from their collections on this forum, there's just too much out there to have it all myself... :smile

    Austria-Hungary, Hungarian & Hungarian Inflationary Paper Money: 1915 - 1989

    French échantillon notes

Italian Currency & AMC Issued in Italy

Brand New Mexican Commemorative Banknotes for 2010

I love those vertical notes, I collect World Paper notes but as of now my collection consists mainly of notes I have picked up through my travels or are very circulated pieces. For example I have dozens of circulated Iraqi Dinar notes pre and post 2003 that I picked up on my deployments. I would like to start a collection of paper notes from all countries during times of war/civil strife (i.e. Notes from Spanish Civil War, Fascist Italy, Phillipine Wars, etc.)

I collect us currency and foreign currency. If interested there are a couple of websites that may be of interest - www.navonanumis.blogspot.com and www.numismondo.com... there is lot of info on both of these sites...

I don't usually collect American coins or notes. I find foreign coins and currency more interesting due the vast history and variety. Foreign paper money is also more colorful than our drab domestic currency. My main area of collecting is Russia and Eastern Europe. Here are a few examples.
