I have two original bank rolled 1964 cent rolls. They are not worth anything, much to my surprise. Should I open them up and look for 'toners or errors?
Dont think that you will find ant toners in rolls, but you could check the cherrypickers guide to see if there are any varieties for the date.
It's definitely worth a shot. There are a few nice RPM and OMM varieties if they happen to be 'D' mint, and you may even get lucky and find a minor mint error (rim clip, lamination, stike through, etc), but either way, crackin' 'em open won't hurt the value tremendously... They're easy to obtain in mint-state condition in or out of a BU roll. -Brian
Definitely crack and search! If you find some PQ pieces, they might MS67/68. This is how big $$$ are made!:thumb:
