I see a lot of these at my work since we go through quite a bit of singles and fives. 99% of the time they are well circulated, but every now and then i see some with only a couple slight folds (I'm still waiting for the day when I go to the bank to do a change order and come back with a bank strapped stack of sequential start notes...).
Is it worth holding onto the ones that I see that have some slight folds, or is it a case of once they have been handled in any way they become worth only their face value? Thanks!

It works in tandem with the series year. Older notes will begin to have collector value even with wear. If you don't miss the spending money, keep the best of the current series and almost any older ones.
