Well, this appears to be a resurrected thread, but let me say I enjoyed it immensely. I'll add my article about Die States, which seems quite pertinent to this thread: http://www.cointalk.com/t59262/
Try sending him a PM or email. He hasn't posted in almost two years but he seems to still be around. According to his profile he was last visiting here on Cointalk a little over an hour ago.
That is really not an understandment and me kick myself in the tuchas that I didn't make a copy of it.
You're right, I don't spend much time here anymore - too much going on in my personal life. So, the deal with the photos is that I used to have a Wordpress blog out there that I had hosting the photos. Worked great. Then it got hacked because Wordpress is like swiss cheese, and I had to take it down. I believe I still have the photos on my server at home, but I'll have to track them down and see if I can put the right list of pics back together. If I can do that, I can get them uploaded somewhere and I'll edit my post to put the new addresses in. No promises, but I'm gonna give it a shot. Fish
That would be great. If you want i can give you space on my server and you can use ssh to transport them on mrbrklyn.com
Fish, Are you a member of EAC? Great post (unfortunately, the images didn't come through on my home machine—will try the work machine tomorrow). As a half cent affectionado, I'm always glad to see post on an under appreciated series. Cringely These are my 1804's: C-4; M2.0? Very informative. As this was posted in 2009, there are no photos. I was hoping to determine the Manley die state for a Half Cent that, based upon your post, seems to be a pre-Manley 1.0 and also wanted an opinion as to whether or not the coin appears genuine.
