Hello everyone!! I know I just posted asking about a 1925 Canadian 5 cent piece and got some great feedback already. So I was wondering if someone would be willing to give me an opinion about this 1903 Canadian 10 cent piece!! I think this coin is in wonderful condition, take note that some of the junk in the picture is actually on the plastic on the outside of holder and not on the coin itself. Thanks for the input! -Aaron
I can't see an 'H' mint mark in your pictures, so you might be in luck. According to coinsandcanada.com, a 1903 dime in XF is $340, but I think your dime might grade higher. I'm not skilled at grading Canadians, and your pictures leave something to be desired, but it looks to be in outstanding condition. If you have a few more Canadian coins, you might want to lump them all together in one post.
There is definitely no H. I agree that it is Extremely Fine 40 if not at least VF-30. Could bring $100-$340. Looks like your grandma got a good price. Is there any possible way you can scan or take less blurry photos because it is hard to grade.
There is definitely no H mint mark on the coin. I know the picture leaves something to be desired. Is there a good way to take better photos up close?
I've been using a 10MP digital camera mounted on a tripod, lens about 24 inches from the coin, and camera on macro. I'm happy with the results.
