That was a while ago. I remember when the theft was happening and all of the problems you faced. Hope all is as better as possible. Nice to see you posting again. Like old home week. Now if Spock would drop by from the stamp forum, it would really be interesting

Its still a miserable situation but it is Passover week so we can all have some Simcha!

 

I assume it was the S-76b rather than the S-76a.

s76 a vs. b is edge lettering or plain edge. Either way, that's a nice clean example, sorry for the loss.

Oddly enough, the more common R1 S-76b sold first and the rare R5 S-76a is still unsold.

 

Did the 76b actually have edge lettering on it? You say ghost lettering but I can't really see it in the photo.

eh 0- My passion is like my feeling for my pets. I like them, but I like my kids and religion on a different scale.

 

The urge to start collecting Large Cents grows everytime I see them.

What are the better dates to try to aim for?
