It looks clean enough to be a 65 or better, but I am missing the luster. Maybe it is your pictures, but I would guess 64.

 

I can see it in a 64 holder. At the same time, the dark areas running down the coat make me think AU something.

I think it will lose points for eye appeal. I'd give it a 62.

Intercept Shields are probably the best for preventing tarnish. Like the one below. You can buy them online at places like Wizard Coin Supply.

Is it just me or does there appear to be a fingerprint on the obverse directly in front of Abe's face? I would say ms62

 

Looks to be MS64. Not sure if the dark spot is toning or something else though.

Yes, there is something in front face. Some black trace looking like fingerprint but i don't know what it is exactly. This is a well centered coin.

I'm sure it's a fingerprint. I have the same coin in a 64rd with 1 clear print in almost the same place. I going to make sure I still have it. the OP coin looks like the same condition but the color is not quite as good, could be the photo.

Hi,

If you look near with magnifying glass you can see some black spots on the entire coins. Less beautiful and bland than the first pictures but this is very near. I add fingerprint picture too.

To me it looks 64 but that dark area before the coat worries me a bit.

I read that there are 1909 VDB proof penny. Some people talking about die scratches. Do you know how to identify it?

Something just makes me think code 94 when looking at those images. In other words altered surfaces and that was all of the old gunk and fingerprint they could get off it.

 

My first thoughts was ms64, as it has a good solid strike, but I think the fingerprints and carbon flecks would knock it down a point or two.
