Error Memorial Cents

    I was looking through some cents and I came across these two. It appears that they are both 1964-D?

    Can someone please tell me what kind of errors these coins are? Also, what are these coins worth (if not $0.01)?

    Thanks for the help. I'm not too familiar with error coins myself.

    looks like they were hit with a hammer. PMD, worth 1 cent (technically 2 cents, because of copper value)

    I'm not sure what the cause may have been. I would prefer to examine them more carefully under my stereomicroscope because my vision ain't the best.

    I agree with both posters #2 and #3 these coin have definately been hit with a hammer or some similar hard object.
