1939 s walking liberty half dollar

    Hello to everyone i just went to new york to ask my dad if he can give me some coins he had. He told me i can have a few so he gave me 1971,1972, 1776-1976 all (D) mint Eisenhower silver dollar, 2 1969 (D) mint,1964 kennedy half dollar and 1939 (S) walking liberty half dollar.I saw alot more coins but i'm pretty sure i saw the 1943 copper penny but he said **** TO THE NO for that one(my words) his word (TU TA LOCO). Anyways the question is do i have something to hold on to or should should i ??? Also i just found a 2000 wide AM is that any good.

    That is the rarest of the 39 Walkers, with 2,552,000 struck in San Francisco that year.

    If you post some photos we can tell you more on condition, cleaning, damage, etc.

    A 43 copper penny? You do know there's like only estimated to be 40 in existence and 12 actually known as of now. If he did have this, it's likely a counterfeit, for every actual 43 copper penny, there's likely thousands of counterfeits that were made.

    looks like silver content. also the eisenhower dollars may not be silver. the silver ones were in proof sets. check the side of it, if you see copper then it is worth $1

    Not entirely accurate. The "Blue Ike's" were not proof's. The "Brown Ike's" were the silver proofs. Betta check yo self before you wreck yo self! ;)

    Business strikes are retailing up to $.35 over face at most dealers and B&Ms.

    If they are D mintmarked then they are copper nickel clad, not silver.
