Thanks guys. It was sold this evening for $40. I went to a real coin guy. And he assured me that my thoughts was right. . Maybe he knows something I don't. But I'm not a collecter ad never will be. My hobby cost me around 1500 a month. So a dime don't mean but a dime to me. But I was lucky on this dime. Thanks again guys

How did the "real coin guy" say that the mint managed to drill a hole in the obverse die in order to get that lump in the middle of the coin? Just curious.

Pretty cool that you sold it, but to me, from your pic, it looks like the head of a screw was pressed into the coin, then the screw was cut off, or something along those lines.

Dang 46 years studying coins and 40 years as a collector and I'm still not a real coin guy? How long is it going to take! :)

I think you are not a "real coin guy" unless you agree with him.

If that "real coin guy" wants a few more "mint errors" I have a bucketful:

I wouldn't buy a single item from this "real coin guy".

You are but a figment of your own imagination.. LOL.. "Real Coin Guys" ride around in Ferrari's, Have lots of gold around their necks and open shops called WE BUY GOLD... Generally speaking they are also very good at selling Kitchen Utensils. It slices, It dices, It will even fall into the dishwasher and clean itself after each use!
