What type of damage is this?

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this but I have no idea what could have caused this damage to this coin. It looks like acid was spilled on only one side of the coin as the other side is in good condition, does anyone know what could cause this damage? The coin is a Danmark 5 ore.

    Thanks.

It's Post Mint Damage. How it happened is a guessing game but it didn't happen at the mint.

All were found in a park where they have those huge mowers that shred cans, necklaces and coins into a metal detectorist's nightmare.

A parking lot can create damage like that, but usually at some point the coin sticks to a tire and flips over.
