Hello, I have enjoyed this coin forum and I need some help. I have a few american morgan dollars, I mostly collect Canadian but now im starting american. See im 13 years old and I go to my Canadian coin store and buy coins there. But he doesnt have very many american coins. (out of my price range) I love the wheat cent, but cant seem to find them. I dont buy off ebay. If anybody can help that would be awesome! Thanks
First of all welcome to Cointalk, Coinman! Now for a starter in collecting wheaties, I would either do a Google search for wheat cent bags, or buy a coin magazine and search the ads for deals on wheat cent bags. You should be able to get them for about 5 cents each in quantities over 1,000. You aren't going to get any key dates with this method, but it is enjoyable, and you'll fill at least half of the holes if you search through a couple thousand wheaties.
