I'm in a pickel here. I have a roll of 1962 Lincoln Cents in high grade. I'm thinking there are many MS66 RB here. I'm sorry but my camera is at work. Will post pictures tommorrow. My question is at a relative value of 30-40 dollars is it worth sending any of these in to be submitted? Demand for Lincoln Cents seems to be constant and I believe there are a couple 67's in here. What would you do with them? I currently have them in a tube, but I'm afraid of contact marks.

Select the best 1 or 2 and send them in. If they get the grade you expect, then it is worth the cost. If they comeback lower than you wanted, at least you didn't send a lot and be more disappointed. Either way , it is a learning experien

Don't bother with the RB's, as much as I love them and think them more handsome. The real value is in the RD's.

Select a couple of the best RD's. Give it a whirl! But don't expect too much. Ownership is worth a point or two.

BTW, the tube won't hurt them and rolls are the best way to retain color.

TYVM. The RD's are not up to par with some of the RB's.

To a lot of us, sure. But RD's sell for many multiples of the same grade in RB. FWIW.

edited to say: I probably misunderstood. You were saying the RD's you have aren't as nice as the RB's. In that case I would say don't have any graded unless you have a spectacular RB...either outrageous, natural, color, or one in incredible shape. MS67 Lincolns are like hen's teeth. 66's aren't worth the cost of grading.

Unless the RB's are very colorful. Then price guide be damned.

I would be VERY surprized if you have any 67 red coins in there. They are pretty scarce at that grade. I agree with Lance.
