Alexander the Third (or the Great) was from Macedon while Alexander the First was king of the Seleucid Empire which was founded after the death of AIII. Alexander the First of Macedon ruled 495-454 BC and his coins are quite rare. A nice tetradrachm of his will run several thousand dollars.
