I'm not even sure what a proof Peace $ is supposed to look like, I've never seen one. http://cgi.ebay.com/1922-Satin-Proo...ryZ11980QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting I don't think this is it though, looks whizzed to me. Why would this not be slabbed. Photos not good, kind of have the ebay slant.
http://coins.heritageauctions.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=402&Lot_No=1261&src=pr Even this doesn't look proof to me.
I've seen a couple, and none of them looked anything like that. That luster doesn't look natural to me at all.
it's described as a proof in uncirculated condition as well. Looks like the seller was planning this big score since Dec 2004. I couldn't imagine buying something like this raw, even the real proofs are ugly.
Sure is a lot of junk on ebay ! http://cgi.ebay.com/1903-S-MORGAN-S...3QQihZ005QQcategoryZ39466QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Yep polished and it shows the CLASSIC Ebay tilt. Intended to make the coin look better than it really is. B
Its funny how the guy who is selling the morgan says that its EF in the title but then he says im not a grader
I saw this one earlier in my travels, and others like it. What the seller is saying is "this coin would be $585 if it were EF. And I add, "But since it's a 'filler' it shouldn't get much more than bullion value." A similar statement would be, "if this 2006 Lincoln Cent in Thalia's Whitman folder were actually a 1909-S VDB, it would be worth thousands!"
first he says: This is a BIG purchase, and for that reason I am offering a return policy of that if a grading company says otherwise, there will be a full refund. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need, and I will comply fully. There are plenty of pictures of this coin, from many angles. but return policy: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seller's return policy: Item must be returned within: 3 Days Refund will be given as: Money Back Return Policy Details: Returns are onlt accepted if the coin is damaged somewhere during the shipping process, but only after the proper claims are filled with the USPS. Basically, these are accurate pictures, and don't bid unless you intend to buy. nice deception huh?
